IAS-sponsored VM disaster response is more vital than ever as a series of hurricanes wreak destruction in the U.S. and Caribbean.

In the aftermath of Harvey, 400 Volunteer Ministers have already provided help to more than 17,000 people, with teams still in full force assisting those worst affected.

As one of the first organizations responding to the disaster, Volunteer Ministers are bringing order to the devastation in Texas, and wherever they go, the flash of yellow signifies help.

A district government representative where VMs were operating called to express his thanks stating, “Your volunteers have been such a blessing. What you are doing here is just amazing and I can’t thank you enough. We are so grateful to you Scientologists for all the help you are giving us. Please tell ALL of your volunteers how much we appreciate everything you have done and are doing.”

While the clean-up and relief efforts continue in Texas, Hurricane Irma, one of the most powerful storms in recorded history, has left a trail of destruction across the Caribbean and is now approaching Florida. It is predicted to make landfall early Sunday. Immediately following it is Category 4 Hurricane Jose.

To prepare for these new super-storms, a second emergency IAS grant has just been provided to mobilize up to 1,000 VMs. This grant will allow to send immediate VM reinforcements to areas affected by the hurricanes.

This is only possible with continued IAS support.

Your donations make a difference in helping to bring VMs and much needed supplies to a disaster site.
